Hello to all you plant breeders and want-to-be breeders!  Arvana and Raoul have graciously accepted my offer to help with the Foundation.  I aim to be quite visible on this web site - you may find changes happening frequently. 

I've been growing vegetables and herbs for about 40 years; just a novice.  Raoul's books (see the sidebar for the link to free copies) have inspired me to want to breed them too.   Currently living in the North Bay area and have found a site that has blight so I can join the Potato Breeding Project!

I'm hoping that we can work together to make the Open Plant Breeding Foundation a force toward reinvigorating a common sense approach to breeding the food that we all need.
