Perennial grain

Hello everyone. I'm very excited to have found this site. I'm hoping that participation increases. I think that a similar online effort for breeding perennial grain crops would be wonderful. Does anyone have any thoughts about this idea?

Perennial grains
Ryan, I'm interested in curly dock, a relative of buckwheat. There was some work done on the species long ago at the Land Institue in Salina, KS, when the Institute was young. Since then, no work. However, the Land Institute is working on perennializing quite a few grain corps. If you haven't visited their web site, Land Institute.com, give them a look.
